### A. Device Permissions

To function correctly, our app requires the following permissions:

- **Storage / Photos and Videos Usage**: We access your device's storage (specifically videos and audio files) **only** to allow you to select files for subtitle generation or voice cleaning.

    - We request `READ_MEDIA_VIDEO` and `READ_MEDIA_AUDIO` on Android 13+ devices.

    - We request `READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE` on older Android versions.

- **Microphone**: Only if you use the recording feature (currently disabled in this version).

- **Internet Access**: Required to download necessary AI models (Sherpa-onnx) upon first use and to serve advertisements via Google AdMob.


### B. Personal Data

We **do not** collect, store, or share your personal data (such as name, email, or phone number) on our servers. 


### C. Audio & Video Data (Offline Processing)

**Your privacy is our priority.** All video and audio processing for subtitle generation and voice cleaning is performed **locally on your device** (offline) using on-device AI models. 

- Your media files are **never** uploaded to our servers for processing.

- The transcribed text remains on your device until you choose to share or export it.


## 3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

This app uses **Google AdMob** to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use your personal data to provide personalized ads.


- **Data Collected by AdMob**: Google AdMob may use device identifiers (such as Android Advertising ID), cookies, and other similar technologies to collect information about your device and usage patterns.

- **Purpose**: This data is used to show advertisements that are relevant to you.

- **Opt-Out**: You can manage your ad preferences in your device settings (Settings > Google > Ads) or via the Google Safety Center.
